That's what author C.R. Kelchner told us about his new book when he reached out for cover design. And he requested specific imagery... a bird, a stormy atmosphere, and a purple origami butterfly.

Perry incorporated her client's requests into a stunning design. She gave the scene a dramatic focal point, eye catching composition, and used weighty fonts along with that tell-tale spatter to convey the genre and communicate a sense of mystery.

The cover, designed for both ebook and full-wrap paperback, perfectly fits his story and intrigues his target audience. And thanks to the thoughtful design, it will allow the author to develop a series with consistent layout and titling for future books.
